Re: Is oracle have more demand in market than SQL Oracle is a SQL complaint database. SQL is a database standard. Were you questioning regarding MySQL v. Oracle or Microsoft's SQL Server? Commencing a hosting corporation proprietor, if you are presently within classes in favor of DBM at a college, if they offering an oracle class, go with it. Oracle is a command database system through means of extra common users. This market is at the moment growing fairly speedy. Consequently, take it or go away it, if you are able to offer it and advertise it for your individual company or just learning about it, go completely. |

Re: Is oracle have more demand in market than SQL It varies, together have been utilize heavily within ODS for a long time however historically MS SQL was not perceive as huge for EDW due to scalability problem. That said, in excess of recent years through the improvements within SSIS and a small number of other elements MS SQL is starting to construct headway into the EDW space used for business clients. I would estimate that Oracle has a superior market share within the corporate world however MS SQL is catching up. Within the SME space outside of the web subsequently MS SQL is more common for the reason that it?s bundling through the Small Business Server etc. |

Re: Is oracle have more demand in market than SQL I live inside a city where software development is a massive business and I've observed more and more ads appear for MSSQL DBA's and architects. An additional thing to think is that MSSQL certifications are cheaper than Oracle certifications and if you?re useful in the company of programming, MSSQL2k8 integrates effortlessly into the .NET 4 frameworks. I estimate it lots depend equipped extensive utilize and purpose of your necessity! I hope this will clear your confusion thank you. |

Re: Is oracle have more demand in market than SQL If you want to know more about the labor market and income prospects, your best bet would be to visit some of the recruiting sites and do a search by the number of vacancies for a particular database, average wages, the type of skills and experience they are looking for, and (if you can find it) the type of companies looking for these people and the market working in Only you can decide what is best for you, but the skills you have learned one of the systems on all transferable to the other in most important areas. |

Re: Is oracle have more demand in market than SQL I'd rather hire someone with several years of experience under his belt to do the job for someone with tons of skills and experience that, but the qualifications and experience are an unbeatable combination. Go with what is best for you and what seems most interesting to you. You have to love what you do, if you want to be a better manager of DB. I would say the majority of SMEs use the MSSQL or MySQL, Oracle seems to be higher end. That said a specialist Oracle developer seems to be harder to find. |
