Queries for SC/ST students on CAT Exams

What are extra relief given to SC/ST students appearing for CAT. I had found on some post staying that there is some kind of additional benefit for SC/ST students. Does there is any concession in exam points. If yes then what is that. And how can a student can get benefit out of that. Second thing recently I need some tips for clearing a CAT exam. I am finding this as too much strain and the study materials just could not help much here. Thanks.

There is no major relief for that. All is that there is some concession given for the purchase of CAT forms. Recently there were registration forms given out by Axis bank for Rs. 1400 each and those who are SC/ST students they were allotted the same for Rs. 700. Talking about marks and any other thing then there is really not benefit in that. Everyone has to study equally and work hard to gain better percentile in CAT. It is not an easy exam.

CAT Preparation needs better studying and practice. You must have a better study material and other support for the same. There is not quiet a big deal in the same. All you need is regular practice and better study material. You have to just start with the appropriate question bank and then keep following few parameters. Take a 15min mock test and then sit for the examination. Be careful for mistakes that can cause your low points.

There is nothing special for SC/ST students just a minor concession provided for purchasing the forms. All you need to score high is to get good knowledge for the subjects of CAT.CAT is all about strategy. Try to give mock test as much as possible. A regular mock test lets you to gain better marks. Better focus on the grammar of your paper. Do not forget to get an appropriate and short revision of whatever you studied.
