Re: what are Pros and Cons of Outsourcing

The main Problem would be related to quality and turnaround time. Outsourcing requires the control of the process being outsourced by transferred to the service provider. Outsourcing requires the control of the process being outsourced by transferred to the service provider. Thus the company may loose control over its process. Thus the company may loose control over its process. The Outsourcing advantage lies in the fact that it helps companies cut costs and stay ahead in the competition. Outsourcing also benefits the citizens in developed counties as it provides high quality products at a cheaper rate also with better customer service.

Re: what are Pros and Cons of Outsourcing

Lower than expected realization of benefits and results, Language or cultural barriers can cause misunderstandings. Outsourcing everything prevents you from providing work to local people. I?ve outsourced some things before - such as call answering, site design and a bit of writing. One of the big advantages to outsourcing is flexibility--it can be a lot easier to cut back on a vendor than an employee. The service provider in developing countries generally services many companies. So there are many chances of partiality owing to more payment by other parties.

Re: what are Pros and Cons of Outsourcing

Once you let someone else handle part of your business, you begin to lose control. Outsourcing everything prevents you from providing work to local people. Customers may not be handled the way you prefer and management may make decisions you don?t approve of. You have to ask yourself if you can trust them, if you think they'll stay in business and if they can adapt to your growing/changing needs. It?s more difficult to build a successful team and create a feeling of belonging, if you outsource, instead of employing people.

Re: what are Pros and Cons of Outsourcing

Purpose of outsourcing is to cut its cost while being successful. It's true that it can cut costs but still many businesses fail. This is because they rush things without thinking about its risk or they just do not know the drawbacks. Well, they would really fail if they do not properly execute the things that needs to be considered such as:
1. What to outsource
2. Where to outsource
3. Which provider
4. Terms and agreements

These are just a few of the many things that need to be considered when planning to outsource. Need not to rush--take it seriously and be very patient and careful.
