if you have the TALENT, PATIENCE and CREATIVITY to be a game designer then you should check out ACADEMY OF ART COLLEGE SAN FRANCISCO or PASADENA COLLEGE OF DESIGN. both schools have pretty good reputation and their nearness in silicon valley virtually makes them a shopping area for game producers who's recruiting talent for their next big thing. there are two paths you can go to when it comes to game designing, first you can be a character designer/animation and second be the game programmer. character designer deals with how will the characters for the next franchise will look and move. game programmers are the tough one because you pretty much lay down the rules of physics in a virtual environment and be in charge of all the artificial intelligence that goes inside the game. WILL alone is not sufficient to be in this field, you need to have the math skills and be an artistic individual.
