Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) invites applications for the following posts in the Animal Husbandry Department.

Assistant Commissioner of Animal Husbandry [In Maharashtra Animal Husbandry Services, Group - A]
Number of Posts: 153
Pay Scale: Rs. 8000-275-13500 plus Special Pay Rs 400/-p.m. etc [Total Pay Approx.Rs.27,600 per month]

Age Limit (as on August 01, 2009):

Maximum 35 years (Relaxation as per rules.)

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Veterinary Science. AND THEREAFTER
  
• Practical experience in Animal Husbandry for a period of not less than 5 years in a Govt. Dept. or in an Industrial Undertaking or Commercial Concern or Local Authority or Corporation or Board established by Govt.
  
• If at any stage of selection for the post of Assistant Commissioner of Animal Husbandry Grade – A, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates possessing prescribed experience of 5 years are not available to fill up the vacancies reserved for the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Castes converted to Buddhism, Scheduled Tribes, Denotified Tribes or Nomadic Tribes, then the Commission may in the matter of such selection, relax the period of experience to the extent of 40% & select suitable candidates belonging to such Caste or Tribe

• Backward Class candidates: Rs. 200
• The fee should be paid in the Post Office by cash along with Application.

How to Apply:

Attach Copies of certificates should not be attached along with the Application Form. However, candidates are required to furnish an affidavit on a stamp paper of Rs.100/-, affirmed before a Notary in respect of correctness and authenticity of the information mentioned in the Application Form. Specimen of affidavit is published on the website in the "Specimen form of Affidavit for Direct Recruitment Posts" Section.

There is one more exam which is going to appear this 13th of May. It is based on MPSC Sales Tax Inspector (STI) Preliminary Examination 2012. The registration date was 31st March which is already gone. And the last date for applications was 20th April. I found this news on a blogspot and there is no other source that provide info on the same. I hope I can collect some recent udpates on upcoming examinations.

I am not sure about this news, but found a update on Junior Grade of Indian Information Services 2012 Online Application through SSC. This is for only Graduates. What found in the article that there was a news that was published on Rojgaar Samachar on 28th April related to applications for Junior Grade of Indian Information Services 2012 Exams. There were openings for around 134 post. Try to find the same on officiail site.
