i would like to improve my English skills
i have some language skills but i need to improve a lot

while speaking i am not able to get more words
i feel difficulty because lack of vocabulary how do i improve these skills

Well the very basic thing to improve your english communication skills
I will suggest you to start talking in english with all your friends you will make mistakes but that will give you confidence. Don't make big sentences make small sentences. & read news paper daily. Watch channels like travel & living, Discovery, animal planet since they use very simple & easy to understand language! This will help you a lot.
Don't forget to use dictionary to look for new words & meanings!

You can put a habit of reading novels by Indian authors. Regular reading of just half an hour in the night before sleeping is good for growing knowlegde and developing english vocabulory.

I did it myself and it was a tremendous success. I started reading novels just to improve my english word power. However, not only could I improve my english I also got tremondous knowledge and confidence. That was by the virtue of "You Can Win" by Shiv Khera, the first book that I read. I would note down the unusual words and those that I didn't understand and would search their meaning in the dictionary. And believe me, this proved to be unbelievably helpful

It will take around 4-5 months to complete it. This will help you build confidence first which will be beneficial for you in every field. This is very true. Follow this way and will surely be very helpful for you. Atleast to some extent. Other books that I recommend are The monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin S Sharma which is also from an Indian author; and Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T Kiyosaki.....some classic collections from the world of novels

Hi,

Read english news papers and this way you will come across various new words which you don't know and this way you can improve your vocabulary.

Watch and listen english news channels to improve your pronunciation and start to discuss with your friends in english.

I would like to give you a few suggestions on improving your communication skills. Firstly, start reading newspapers on a daily basis. Secondly, try talking to yourself in front of the mirror.
