    Private Medical colleges in India and fee structure it provides

    I want to pursue career in medical field. I have just passed 12th Standard from CBSE board. Can someone suggest me some private medical colleges in India. I stay in Delhi and I am ready to stay in any part of India. Suggest me some well known colleges as I have good marks.

    You can try getting admission in Christian Medical College, Vellore. It provides many courses like,

    You can apply for Dermatology in Christian Medical College, Vellore. This course trains the student to treat diseases like psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis. One can also learn the use of Intralesional steroid for Lichen planus, keloids, alopecia areata. The course also includes training of Wet wrap therapy for atopic dermatitis and chronic eczema. Student will also learn to do Suction blister and minipunch grafting, punch hair transplant for vitiligo. One can also master the techniques of Electrocautery, radiosurgery and cryosurgery for warts, tumours and moles. Facilities are also available for learning CO2 laser therapy for warts, tumours, xanthelasma and acne scar resurfacing. You will also study Iontophoresis, botox injecjtions for palmoplantar hyperhidrosis. Chemical peeling (salicylic and glycolic peels) & CO2 laser for pigmentation of face and acne scars is also included in its syllabus. You can also work on Nail splinting and removal for ingrowing nail and dystrophic nails. You will also learn DNCB and DPCP applications for alopecia areata.

    You can try Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. It started as pre-clinical section as the students had to go Mangalore for clinical training. This college was started in Manipal to provide a full fledge medical training to the students at that place. It is one of the private colleges in India. The fee for MBBS course in this college can cost about Rupees 44700. If you want to apply for microbiology, Anatomy research, physiology or Biochemistry, then the fees would be Rupees 98000. For studying Clinical Embryology fees are Rupees 26600. Cost for learning Yoga Therapy is Rupees 26000. To learn Psychiatry Social works, fees will be Rupees 50000 and for post graduation in DM/MCH cost would be Rupees 81600.

    You can opt for ophthalmology from this college as it is well known for its facility to teach it. This field is related to eyes and you will learn design and make contact lenses. For this you will learn physics as well as Biology. Other things that you will learn in this course are Low Vision Aid, Glaucoma clinic, Strabismus clinic, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Retina clinic and Cornea clinic. You can specialize in Bscan, FDP, Field testing, Ultrasound biometry, Keratometry, Fundus photography, Fundus fluorescien angiography, Corneal topography and Specular microscopy. This institute is also known for its course in Urology. This department specializes in treatment of problems related to bladders and kidneys. It deals with urinary tracts of male and female. This course provides subjects like Urology Andrology, EndoUrology, Lithotripsy, Urodynamics, Female Urology, Paediatric, Reconstructive Urology and Uro-Oncology.

    You can try getting admission in J.J. Medical college in Mumbai. It is a government college so the fees must be very low in this college. You can also try for admission in this college. The dental and oral surgery is good facility that this college provides. This course trains student to perform diagnosis and treatment on mouth and teeth. It also trains to make dentures and teeth fillings. Other topics that are covered under this course of college are,

    This college also has a course on plastic surgery. It is three year course an trains a student for repairing Congenital deformities including cleft lip and palate. Student is also trained for treatment of Craniofacial surgeries including Facio-Maxillary injuries. One will also learn about treatment of Skin Cancers. A student will also gain knowledge of Acute burns and post burn deformities and Micro vascular tissue transfer. You can also master in field of Post trauma limb reconstruction. You will also learn Post excision reconstruction of Head & Neck, Breast, Trunk, Limbs, Rhinoplasty, Liposuction, Aesthetic breast surgery.

    You can also apply in Medical College of Kolkata. This college is well known for its education in Orthopaedics. Orthopaedics is course related to Primary hip, Knee, Shoulder, Elbow arthroplasty and Revision arthroplasties. It includes the treatment of Spine surgeries including Posterior Lumbar Inter body Fusion, Lumbar discectomy and decompression, Treatment of spinal infections, tumours, scoliosis and cervical spine problems. You can also become physician in sports which includes Arthroscopic Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Arthroscopic Bankart’s repair and Arthroscopy of ankle and elbow. This course also includes Paediatric orthopaedics including treatment of complex congenital, developmental anomalies and deformities like hip dysplasias (DDH), CTEV, congenital pseudoarthroses.

    Medical College of Kolkata also has facilities to learn Radiation Therapy. It teaches diagnosis of detecting cancer in patient’s body along with its type and location. This therapy helps to detect the type of cancer and its power. It studies how far the cancer can spread in the body. It detects if the cancer can be treated using surgery or Radiation Therapy is needed.

    You can specialize yourself in Cardiothoracic Surgery. This field teaches you to treat the hart diseases related to newborn babies. Congenital Heart diseases in which the newborns, infants and children are blue, breathless and Fail to grow. Some new born babies have recurrent respiratory tract infections. Ischemic heart disease in which the blood supply to the patient’s heart is not proper. Patients get angina, shortness of breath, swollen ankles, etc due to this. Valvular heart diseases in which the valves in the heart have an opening which is too small or the valves leak. This field also deals with other problems like tumors in lungs and other respiratory organs.
