Does online university degree is equivalent to regular university

I had seen many online website that gives nice courses which are hard to find in a regular university. I want to go for a advance course is computer programming. I found on a website that provide a international degree. I want to know how important it will be at the time of finding jobs. Does these degrees are counted at the time of job interviews or one should pursue courses only from regular degree college.

It actually depends on the online university type. Now there are many universities that gives you distance learning process. That means you just have to take admission and go in a nearby center to give exams. That's it. You don't have to attend classes for that. I will advice you go with a reputed university in India only. Because if you go for some international online course, then that might be not counted for government sector.

Whenever I need to find anything about a course whether it will be eligible in future growth or not, I go ahead with the job description. For example if you are looking for a job in government sector then on the basis of job post you can easily find what eligibility government demands. Only on that basis I checkout for online colleges.

Most of the online degrees are counted under private courses. They are not recognized by our public sector. Those can give you benefit in private sector for sure. Whatever degree or course we pursue our motive is to get the right job and a good pay scale. I had seen many online degrees are counted by private sector only.
