    United Bank of India invites ONLINE applications for the posts of Probationary Officer

    Probationary Officers Posts: 900 (JMGS-I Grade, 10000 -18240)
    Age Limit: 21-30 years [Relaxation as per rules]
    On-Line Application Starts: March 30, 2009
    On-Line Application Ends: April 27, 2009
    Send Printed Applications By: May 04, 2009 (May 11, 2009)
    Date of Written Test: June 21, 2009

    Eligibility :

    A graduate or Post graduate in any discipline from the recognized University with a minimum mark of 55% in either Graduation or Post graduation. 5% relaxation available to candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC / PWD Category. Candidate must have successfully completed a computer course of at least 6 months' duration from any Institute recognized by Central/State Govt. / AICTE.

    Application Fee:

    Gen: Rs.400/-
    SC/ST/PH candidates: Rs. 50/-

    In form of Bank DD or by Banker's cheque/ Pay Order favouring "United Bank Of India Specialist Officers Recruitment Project 2009″ payable at Mumbai. Candidate's name, date of birth, Address, Post Code & Registration Number should be written on the back of demand draft /bankers' cheque

    How to Apply:

    Candidates are required to apply On-Line through website www.unitedbankofindia.com No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

    Candidates applying for more than one post are required to take demand drafts for each post separately and are required to apply on-line for each post separately.

    1. Candidate should have a valid e-mail ID.
    2. Candidates are advised to keep the Demand Draft / Bankers' Cheque, particulars of educational qualifications, work experience details, caste certificate details, ex-serviceman details, and other personal details ready as these details are required to be entered in the ONLINE APPLICATION.
    3. Without Demand Draft / Bankers' Cheque details, application will not be registered.
    4. To apply open Bank's Website www.unitedbankofindia.com click on the appropriate link alongside i.e. "APPLY ON-LINE". Fill in the required details therein including the Demand Draft / Bankers' Cheque Number, date etc. and click on the "SUBMIT" button at the end of the ONLINE Application Form.
    5. After applying ONLINE, take a print out of System Generated ON-LINE APPLICATION Form in A-4 size paper, firmly paste a recent passport size photograph bearing the signature of the candidate at the appropriate space provided at the right hand top corner of the application form and sign at the bottom of the application form at the space provided.
    6. Attach following documents to the System Generated ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM and send by ordinary post
    7. Xerox copy of School leaving certificate in support of Date of Birth.
    8. Xerox copy of the Final convocation Degree certificate, certificates in respect of passing Graduate Degree and Post Graduate Degree (Provisional Certificate will be accepted only if the candidate has passed the relevant examination during the past one year i.e. 2008) or the university has not yet issued the convocation certificates .
    9. Year wise /semester-wise Mark sheets for the Graduate and Post Graduate degree or Professional Course.
    10. Medical Certificates in case of Physically Challenged candidates.
    11. SC/ST Caste certificate/OBC certificate with "Non-Creamy Layer Clause" (Not more than one year old).
    12. Work experience certificate/s wherever applicable.
    13. Demand Draft / Bankers' Cheque.
    14. Candidate's name, date of birth, Address, Post Code & Computer Generated Application Number should be written on the back of demand draft / bankers' cheque.
    15. System Generated Online Application Form complete in all respects enclosing the above documents and the relevant Demand Draft / Bankers' Cheque should be sent in a closed envelope BY ORDINARY POST ONLY superscribing as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ---------------------(Post Code 01)" so as to reach on or before the last date to the following address.
