    Enter in CST for Cdac (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing)

    hi
    i am looking to pursue Centre for Development of Advanced Computing
    CDAC but i am less of knowledge about this. There is no way to get more information me after somen tell me to get inside cst what is that and how can get inside ? and what is its advantage?please tell me if any one knows .

    Competence in Software Technology Examination is an examination conducted by C-DAC (The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing), Mumbai along with many other organizations and bodies which include Scientific R&D Institution of Govt. of India, Dept. of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and information Technology. This examination is conducted for the graduates from any field to pursue education in the field of software technology.

    CST is a nationwide examination conducted annually for graduates in any field by C- DAC, Mumbai, an R&D Institution of Government of India, and Department of Information Technology, Ministry of communication and Information Technology.

    Eligibility:
    A degree in any subject or engineering Diploma, Final year degree students can also appear for CST exams held every year
    there is 4 Levels of Examination:
    E (Entry Level) ,I (Intermediate Level),D (Diploma Level),G (Graduate Level)

    Admissions through CST:
    · Full time Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology at C- DAC centres (FPGDST)
    · PGPM at International School of Technology Management, Bangalore
    · MCA at Goa University
    · MCA at NMIMS University, Mumbai
    · MCA at Alliance Business Academy, Bangalore
    · BCIDS at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai
    · M.Sc (IT) at Smt. Parvathibai Chowgule College, Goa

    Eligibility criteria:
    1. The appearing candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or a diploma in any field from any university recognized by central government.
    2. The candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree examination can also apply but they will be required to show the proof of the completion of degree at the time of admission.

    Levels and papers of the Examination:
    1. Level E — General Aptitude (GA) and Computer Concepts (CC)
    2. Level I — General Aptitude (GA), Computer Concepts (CC) and C Programming (CP)
    3. Level D — General Aptitude (GA), Computer Organization and Operating Systems (CO), C Programming (CP), Data Structures and Algorithms (DS)
    4. Level G — General Aptitude (GA), Computer Organisation and Operating Systems (CO), Data Structures and Algorithms (DS) along with any 2 of the following optional subjects namely Computer Networks, Database Management, Java Technology, Object Oriented Programming and C++, Software Engineering, Web Technology

    2. Paper will contain MCQs with each correct answer carrying +3 and -1 for wrong answer.

    Proposed important dates:
    1. Mid jan – deadline for receipt of completed A-1 application forms.
    2. Last week of jan – entrance examination
    3. Last week of feb – last date for receipt of completed A-2 application forms
    4. First week of march – announcement of result.
    5. May – interviews of the selected candidates.
