GRE Exam is actually Graduate Recorded Exam. The Education Testing Service (ETS) directs The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) on behalf of the Graduate Record Examinations Board and the Council of Graduate Schools. GRE Exam chiefly a multiple-choice test. The GRE Exam scores have to be submitted by students aspiring for admission in international graduate school for Graduate program.

A high score in GRE (Graduate Record Examination) alone does not guarantee admission to any of the graduate Schools or Universities abroad, but the test can be looked upon as the first major hurdle to be cleared in the process of getting admission in the Graduate school of choice.
