    When I had time to read I use to read almost everything, except non fiction. I enjoy romance, scifi, mystery, thrillers, action, horror. Now so little time , So much to do..I still read but not like i used to..

    Michael Palin(MY fav author, Around the world was super. pole to pole and now pacifica are brilliant. He's now in the Himalayas so another book coming soon.)
    Like all war and detective novels.... but good ones are hard to find.

    The worst among the lot sidney sheldon..... terrible

    Grisham, PG Wodehouse,Mario Puzo, losta other. cant remember now..

    2 lazy to type a list right now....but i definitely hate authers like dale carnegie n ppl

    i have not read 'we the living' maybe i will read it now.
    Btw i forgot to add James Herriot to the list. the most wonderful stories from Yorkshire

    what r books,

    Danielle steel, fredrick forsyth and sidney sheldon are some of my favs, but JK Rowling is for kids (no offence)

    of frederick forsythe, the jackal, and shephard are good. Rowling is ok, but not original. She portrays characters well though.

    i just saw the book "The Fountainhead" in my school library.what genre is it?what's it bout?perhaps fountainhead would like to answer that?

    i like Ayn Rand very much..boy what a writer she is...her master pieces "The Fountainhead " and "Atlas Shrugged" r simply awesome and superb....John Galt the ideal person and Howard Roarke the young architect r depicted in a tone that is beyond my imagination..

    i do like

    Mario Puzo for his "The Family " and "The God Father"
    JRTolkien for "The lord of the rings"
    JKRowling for her Harry potter series
    Robert Bach for his seagull
    and some other writers like

    Stephen R.covey for his acclaimed masterpiece of personality enhancement "The seven habits of highly effective people"
    Anthony Robbins for his "Awaken the Giant with in" & "unlimited power"
    Robert Schuller for "tough times never last....."
    Norman vincent Peale for all his books
    Dale carnegie for all his books

    jack higgins aka john patterson wrote the eagle has landed...n ayn rand is amongst the best authers ever...her "we the living" is one of the best books i have read...

    no but i enjoyed the shannara series by terry brooks.. i m a sucker for a good fantasy story

    I've always been a big fan of the fantasy genre. Terry Goodkind, He is the master of character development, and can make you feel as if you are a part of the story.

    Wizard's First Rule
    Stone of Tears
    Blood of the Fold
    Temple of the Winds
    Soul of the Fire

    All Amazing books. I suggest every fantasy lover to read them.!

    Wodehouse is prety good.so is Agatha Christie.plays are pretty appealing too.like Oscar Wilde's:Importance of being Earnest.Douglas Adams absolutely rules though.

    Ayn Rand is da BEST. And i really loved The Fountainhead and The Atlas Shrugged! U guyz hafta check out these books.

    The Catcher in the Rye by J.D.Salinger is a real good read. We can learn a lot from that book.

    Hot Zone by Richard Preston is a medical Thriller(True Story)

    The Firm, The Partner, etc by John Grisham r fantastic!
