How to unlock private folder

I want to undo 'Make Folders Private' option in XP Home I want to know a particular unlock method for child folders contained in parent.

Hi Soloheart,

Try this procedure:

1>While Win XP is running, drop the XP Home CD in the drive.
2>Explore in until you find "NTBACKUP" then install that program.
3>Run it, under 'accessories'. Select the folders you want to remove the permissions from and back them up to a .bkf.
4>Then 'restore' the .bkf after removing the permissions, it's under 'advanced'.

after getting locked, i am unable to unlock it......
after entering the password the private folder doesn't appear....
what shoould i do, plz help me........
