question Anybody used Aston shell??

has anybody used Aston Desktop manager and shell replacement? how is it?
the themes look really good!! and it says it uses less memory than windows shell. is it stable? that is what i really want to know. does it have bugs?

i have used styleXP, windowblinds etc. but this looks much better than all these!!

Yep. I've used it, but I don't think its any better than the default windows shell. They say "It uses less memory than windows shell" but their conclusion is purely based on some circumstantial situations. If you want the looks, then nothing comes close to beating it & I'd say you definitely go for it, but if performance is your primary criteria, then it is a big no no.

Aston is infact very light if not lighter than the default win shell...but its way better than windowsblinds which is a crappy shell replacement n i dont kno how but it is still doing good business...
N most of these shell replacement /enhancers come as limited period trial versions...so if u r fed up wid numerous popups to buy......get urself a simple uxtheme.dll patch which allows u to use non-certified themes on windows XP... check this out...http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=140707 ...probably one of the best windows enhancer on the net..forget ur trial period expiry woes forever...

This is the best and most encouraging solution.
