how to remove date and time in Windows 7 taskbar

I am running my computer on Windows 7. I am looking a way to remove the date and time in the taskbar. I have seen that I am able to hide the date in the taskbar by check marking the "use small icons" in the taskbar but it will still show time? So therefore I wanted to know a way on how to remove or atleast hide both time and date in taskbar? Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

I dont know how to remove date and time in taskbar but you can try to hide them. To do that right click on your Taskbar and then go to Properties. After that click Customize by going to Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window which is located in Notification area. After that click 'Turn system icons on or off' and then search for Clock and its similar kind of drop down menu and then select Off and then click ok. Hope this helps.

Well, it is a very simply procedure. All you need to do is just right click on the Taskbar and then go to Properties and then go to Notification Area and then choose to Uncheck Clock and then click ok to exit. Thats it

Follow the below steps to turn off System icons that will also hide time and date in the taskbar:

1. First of all right click on Taskbar and then go to Properties.
2. After that go to the Notification area and then click Customize button.
3. Next you need to click on "Turn system icons on or off".
4. You can see that the first option given will be clock. Simply select to turn it off and then click ok.
