Unable to change classic theme to aero on windows 7

I have a PC at home dual booted with Windows XP and Windows 7. Xp is working fine no problem, am here because of problem in my Windows 7 os. Yesterday i was making a video using Live Movie maker, simultaneously i was also converting videos of about 7 GB. Due to this my system freezed completely. Nothing was working, not even task manager. So i did hard reboot. When the system came back the theme switched automatically to Classic. I tried changing it back to normal Aero theme but it just refused to. Now am just unable to switch back the theme to Windows Aero. Please help.

Seems like some problem with your Aero itself. Did you tried troubleshooting the same ? if not, simply type Aero in the smart menu and click on troubleshoot Transparency. Let the windows detect and solve the problems itself. Most the time Aero gets fixed by doing this.

If it wont get fixed now also, than i'll recommend you restore your system to any earlier restore point. Also make sure you have graphic drivers updated. Try it out and let me know the results.
