Hi. I am fine. I would like to tell here that the taskbar along with the Snow Leopard theme appears less important, nevertheless that is for the reason that the icons are shortened, that is what I am feeling, it does not give the impression of being extremely pleasant as such. Its hard to understand that you are not fond of the superior taskbar with the QL taskbar on. It's no more than a little bit advanced; I do not distinguish the big deal. Thank You.

Hello. I would like to tell you that you should right-click an unfilled area on the taskbar. In case Lock the taskbar has a verification mark subsequent to it, the taskbar will be locked. You can unlock it by clicking on Lock the taskbar, that gets rid of the check mark. You will then have to point to the border of the taskbar in anticipation that pointer alter into a double-headed arrow and then pull the boundary to build the taskbar the size you wish. You can in addition verify the Use Small Icons in taskbar properties .

I don't believe the Quick Launch taskbar has something to do with your difficulty, it give the impression of being more like a bug with any the design of the Snow Leopard theme or its Apple button, otherwise the Vista Style Builder tool, which is not able to scale these buttons appropriately. It seems like with QL disabled, the Apple button is shortened at the underneath to robust in the single-height taskbar, as an alternative of not being shortened however having the pinnacle of the button extending beyond the rest of the screen, and when QL is enabled, the height of the taskbar is placed to go with precisely the height of the Apple button.

I think the offender may be the location of the Apple button in the Snow Leopard theme, perhaps it ought to be located at the very base of the taskbar, approximating coordinates 0,0, so it will scale elegantly on single- or else double-height taskbars, along with Quick Launch allowed or not. You can load the default Windows theme into the Vista Style Builder tool, to observe the size in addition to coordinates of the Windows/Start button . I hope you like this.

The thing that I can believe is that the Apple button might comprise a solid color background as a substitute of one with the clear characteristic. This might perhaps stop Windows from rendering the button correctly as the dimension of the button would contain the background, as a replacement for of being inadequate to the size of the apple. I am talking about this, for the reason that Apple button may be having some strange graphic object neighboring it.

With the default Windows theme, the Windows/Start button on the single-height taskbar stays precisely the same whether QL is enabled or not: It is very somewhat shortened at the base, perhaps by 1 or 2 pixels, and the pinnacle of the button which does not fit in the taskbar just overlaps with the rest of the screen. In order to ensure if that is the actual scenario then you will have to right-click "Personalize|Window color" on your desktop and for the time being modify the color to perceive if the background in the region of the apple also alters.
