Advice on 3D Software Purchase

I want to know what is the best 3D Software that I can purchase that is of low cost and can be used with After Effects. Many of my friends told me to go with Maya. So does anyone here is using Maya with After Effects and how is the integration and ui of that application. Another one is that I saw was C4D? So which one among this 2 application is worht for the money? Thank you

I would recommend you Cinema4D that also has great integration with After Effects. But if you want to really get into some high end work C4D probably wont be fit for the job, but don't take my word for it but for motion graphics, I don't think you can beat Cinema4D. The mograph module is simply fantastic.

I also think that you should go with C4D without any doubts. There are many things that I liked most about c4d is the workflow, the non-destructive stack, and stuff like that will really keep you focussed on your work. But there are some negative points as well with C4d like it lacks in character animation and technical precision.

I was using AutoCAD but I love this nifty little 3D software for fast accurate, cost-effective deadlines.
