    How to use your keyboard to operate computer without a mouse

    Most of us come to situations where your mouse doesn't work and you are just left with your keyboard to operate your computer. Can you discuss what are the various shortcuts that are available in Windows to operate it? In simple terms, how to use your keyboard to operate your Windows without a mouse?

    This are the common shortcuts that most of us knows:

    CTRL+C - To copy
    CTRL+X - To cut
    CTRL+V - To paste
    CTRL+Z - To undo last action
    DELETE - To delete

    However some shortcuts related to browser specific are:

    F11 - Toggles between full screen and normal view on any Web browser
    Tab - To move forward through items on a webpage
    Shift+Tab - To move backward through items on a webpage
    Alt+Home - To go to your homepage
    Shift+F10 - To open a shortcut menu for an internet link

    There are so many keyboard shortcuts in Windows including;
    • Windows Logo (Display or hide the Start menu)
    • Windows Logo + BREAK (Display the System Properties dialog box)
    • Windows Logo+D (Display the desktop)
    • Windows Logo+M (Minimize all of the windows)
    • Windows Logo+SHIFT+M (Restore the minimized windows)
    • Windows Logo+E (Open My Computer)
    • Windows Logo+F (Search for a file or a folder)
    • CTRL+Windows Logo+F (Search for computers)
    • Windows Logo+F1 (Display Windows Help)
    • Windows Logo+ L (Lock the keyboard)
    • Windows Logo+R (Open the Run dialog box)
    • Windows Logo+U (Open Utility Manager)

    To control the mouse pointer with the keyboard
    • Start.
    • Control Panel.
    • Ease of Access.
    • Ease of Access Center.
    • Under "Explore all settings", select "Make the mouse easier to use".
    • Under "Control the mouse with the keyboard", select "Turn on Mouse Keys".
    • Under "Keyboard shortcut", turn on Mouse Keys with ALT + SHIFT + NUMLOCK.

    Alt + F File menu options in current program.
    Alt + E Edit options in current program
    F1 Universal Help in almost every Windows program.
    Ctrl + A Select all text.
    Ctrl + X Cut selected item.
    Shift + Del Cut selected item.
    Ctrl + C Copy selected item.
    Ctrl + Ins Copy selected item
    Ctrl + V Paste
    Shift + Ins Paste
    Home Goes to beginning of current line.
    Ctrl + Home Goes to beginning of document.
    End Goes to end of current line.
    Ctrl + End Goes to end of document.
