1600x900 Setting Makes the Fonts and Icons Size too Small

Hello, I have a laptop that supports the 1600x900 resolution , except that the resolution, the icons and the font size is too small. Is it possible to keep this resolution and increase the size of fonts and icons? previously i did have a different computer with same resolution but the size of icon and font was comfortable and can be viewed properly
