Windows xp cursor symbols

I have installed windows xp on my system. Can someone explain me what are the different cursor symbols (which are small thing to point many application) i can see on my windows xp desktop? Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

Click on start button then click on Settings. select Control Panel then Double Click on Mouse option. Click the Pointers Tab then you can see all the different possibilities of cursor. There is combo box which shows the name of all cursor and the image will display in white display box.
