Re: change the Mystify Screen Saver settings

There is no settings to set in the Screen Saver Settings window by default in windows 7.So you need to do the same by registry. Here are the steps:-

    1. Go to start menu > type regedit in the search line > press Enter.

    2. If prompted, click on Continue in the UAC prompt.

    3. Now go to the folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Screensavers\Mystify

    4. In the right pane, right click on a empty area and click on New and DWORD (32-bit) Value.

    5. Type in a DWORD Name that you want to change and press Enter.Example:

    • For line fade away. Set this value to 1 to enable, 0 to disable and let them draw on top of each other.
      • DWORD Name - Blur
      • Value Data - 0 or 1

    • For thinner or thicker lines. Higher value number for thicker lines.
      • DWORD Name - LineWidth
      • Value Data - 1000000000 to 1080000000

    • For more or less lines on screen. Higher value number for more lines.
      • DWORD Name - NumLines
      • Value Data - 1 to 100

    6. Now right click on the DWORD Name and click on Modify.

    7. Select Decimal, and type in the Value Data you want in the table above and click on OK.

    8. Close Regedit when done.Thats it.. You are done !!
