Filmstrip view problem in Xp

hi
i have strange problem in my xp ..till yesterday every thing was fine but today i start pc my Filmstrip view were gone i try to bring it back but i dont found any settings so please tell me how to activate filmstrip view in Xp for folders .

hi i think you should restart pc and press f8at start up and select last good known configuration to boot or try safe mode i think that will reset your problem. also scan for viruses

try this

1. Right-click the folder
2. select Properties
3. Select the Customize tab.
4. Under "Use this folder type as a template:",
5. select either Photo Album or Pictures
6. click OK.
7. From the Windows Explorer View menu, select Filmstrip to view the pictures from within the selected folder.

This issue can occur because the Filmstrip feature requires that Show common tasks in folders be selected to view the full functionality. here is what i found for your problem http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299542
