How to remove hardware tab from hardware properties

Hello, I am a Windows 7 user. I need to remove my hardware tab from the hardware properties because of some security reasons. I don't wanna anyone configure the driver details and other properties of the hardware installed.

So please help me out to do the same.

Re: How to remove hardware tab from hardware properties

Well, thats good thinking. To remove the hardware tab, just go through this:-

1. Open Local Group Policy editor

2. Navigate to the folder:

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer

3. Double click the option Remove Hardware tab in the right pane

4. In the Remove Hardware tab window mark the Enabled check box.

5. Click Apply and then OK buttons..

Thats it...
