How to change screen resolution in Windows 7 ?

hi,

few days back.....I had downloaded the beta version of Windows 7 that was released by Microsoft over the internet. However, while using this latest version of Windows, I discovered that it did not allow me to change the screen resolution. how do I change Windows 7 screen resolution ?
any ideas....

Since Windows 7 is new , all the previous drivers won't work. As a result, the beta version came out so that hardware manufacturers can create drivers. Right now windows 7 as just basic genuine driver.
You must wait until the hardware manufacturers develop drivers.

Windows 7 is the Microsoft’s upcoming client operating system that has some nice UI improvements. One of these nice changes is the ability to easily and quickly change the display resolution of a Windows 7.
Prior to Windows 7, in Windows 2000/XP/2003, you could access the screen resolution properties through the Display applet in the Control Panel or from the Properties options on the Desktop. One click, another click, and you were there.

To change the screen resolution in Windows 7 follow these steps:

• Right-click an empty spot on your desktop and select Screen Resolution.
  
• In the Control Panel >> Appearance and Personalization >>Display >> Screen Resolution window, click on the Resolution drop-down list.
  
• Here - you can slide the slider up and down to the right resolution, and imagine that, you can even place it between stops to customize it to whatever resolution you want. Notice how the screen animation changes as well.
  
• Click OK when satisfied, click out of the slider.
