    Blank start menu!

    Hello,

    I'm using windows xp , and since yesterday facing wired problem as never before. My start menu is blank with no programs list in it. How do i get back it to normal.

    Please help. Thank you.

    I also face this problem at least once in a month , the simple solution for me is right click on taskbar and select properties and start menu tab and then switch the view type of start menu and click apply. this helps to me..hope this will solve your problem also.

    Start > Run > regedit > navigate to
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explor er

    on the right pane delete the following

    NoInstrumentation , ClearRecentProgForNewUserInStartMenu , Intellimenus , NoSMHelp and NoSMMyDocs

    Log off >< Log In
