Broken images in file transfer

Someone who knows what to do with images that have been ''broken'' while in file transfer? Reply please and thanks if you have a solution or an idea

Try different display programs, take a screenshot of it, which gives the best result.

Those previews / thumbnails, it is not a separate hidden file it uses it - and not the image file?
And usually they are not to be at very low resolution?

You may think the image files? For images can not do much about if it is lost. But yes, some programs can open even truncated images.
