Windows 7 Gadgets won't work

Hello,

For me the gadgets do not work.

When I download one on the official website it gives me an error during installation.

Gadgets are they intentionally disabled by microsoft or is it a bug that will be sorted later?

When the UAC (User Account Control) in Windows 7 Beta is disabled or set to no notify, the gadgets stop working (happens in at least build 6956 and 7000). Other error symptom is that when right click on Desktop to select “Gadgets” won’t bring up dialog window with list of gadgets, and any added gadgets won’t be showing or displaying, even after restarting or rebooting computer. Enable UAC .

For me the gadgets work well (with one exception, the Systran translator). It seems that many people have this problem. The UAC is disabled? Often, disabling UAC completely blocks Windows gadgets ....

I had actually set to a minimum. I reassembled the first step and it works. Thank you
