    No User Icons in Windows Xp

    Hello , I Have a windows xp Computer , can you tell me When i boot my computer why i Cannot See the user icon at the welcome Screen, I would like see the user icon in windows xp , Can you tell me how can i enable the user Icon in Windows XP , please help me Thanks in advance

    Hello , the solution is to have a Multiple account without password or single Account with Password , this way you will get the user icon at the start in windows xp

    If You want the welcome screen of Windows XP? then Go to Start, Run and type Regedit. Once in the Registry Editor, go to:

    HKEY_Local_Machine - Software - Microsoft --- Windows NT ---- Currentversion ----- Winlogon

    On the right, locate the key named LogonType. Double click it and change its value from 0 to 1.

    To enable or disable the Use the Welcome screen, you must have an computer administrator account on a computer ,

    1. On the Start menu, click Settings, then Control Panel.
    2. In Control Panel window, double-click User Accounts.
    3. Click Modify the way users log on or off.
    4. To show the user icon , you have to use the Welcome screen, select the check box Use the Welcome screen.
    5. The splash screen will appears when you start the computer. To login, type password and press enter
