How to increase the lcd resolution from 1024x600 to 1366x768

I have a Broadcom Crystal HD card on my pc. I want some help to increase the screen resolution. I am getting 1024x600 and I want around 1366x768. This is the maximum resolution my pc supports. But I am unable to get that. I have a Dell LCD display. The resolution is grayed out. Is there anyone who is using similar card and able to get good amount of resolution.

You will only get the resolution if that card supports it. The second issue can be due to outdated drivers. You will have to properly find drivers and required update for the same or else it is not going to work well. You can go on the official website to find latest drivers for the same. Install it and then check back. If the card has no support for that much big resolution then it is not going to work. Try to find out the specification first. What is the maximum resolution output it offers you.

Try to re-install the card and see whether you are able to get the kind of resolution. It looks the current drivers are not good enough to give you high display. That you can simply fix by re-installing the card back again. If this does not work then try to hook your pc back on the existing onboard video and see what is the max resolution you are getting on the same. You won't get any better output if you have limited hardware config.
