Open regedit (Start menu, Run ... and type regedit) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Command Processor Edit DWORD Value DefaultColor by a hexadecimal value |

The default value is 0 (white text on black background). Use the color codes below to change the default colors.
The colors are expressed by a hexadecimal number with two digits. The first is the background color and the second to the text color. For example, 1F will highlight white text on a blue background. |
