Re: Cannot start StyleXP
Go to start, control panel. Click on classic view on the left. Go to display. Under the themes list, do you have Windows XP listed? If so, select it and click apply. If not, go to the appearance tab. Under Windows and Buttons, do you have Windows XP style? If so select it and click apply.
If not, go to start, then click run. In the box type services.msc and press enter. You should get the services console (hopefully it will work on XP home - I'm on XP pro and I don't know). Scroll down to where it says Themes. Double click it. Set the startup type to automatic, and click start if it's not started yet. Then try the steps in the first paragraph again.
