    Making XP Icons BIG

    Hi,

I just want to increase the size of desktop icons to be big, as i use Tuneup utility to change my icon size to 256, it changes the icon size in start menu and also in other windows such as "Open file".

    any idea what to do?

Just set your icons in explorer to tile view, then they'll be normal size. will probly have to change your start menu to the classic small one too, as the icons there pick up the size as well.

    See if this works...

Right-Click on Desktop > Properties > Effects > uncheck Use large icons.

    Follow this :

    • Right click on your desktop.

    • Properties

    • Appearance tab

    • Advanced button

    • Click on drop down arrow for 'item'

    • Icon, then select numeric size, change that to 256.

    • You might need to change the vertical and horizontal spacing too.
