Re: Open a folder in a new window

You can simply click on explor by right clicking on a folder. That will open in new window.

Re: Open a folder in a new window

With a small modification in the registry, we will add a command which will do this simply by right-clicking on a folder.
  • Click "Start" "Run ..." then type "regedit" and click "OK"

  • Go to the key: "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\Shell"

  • Create a new key named "New window". To do this select "Shell", then right-click "New" and "key".

  • In the right part of the Registry Editor, double click on the "(Default)" and then in the field of writing, write "New window".

  • Create a new key called "command" in the key we just create.

  • In the right part of the Registry Editor, double click on the "(Default)" and then in the writing field, type "explorer.exe %1".

  • Now when you right-click a folder, a new line appears to open in another window!
