When I receive a message with a large picture annex and order to print the printed text font is so small that I cannot read even with glasses. That did not happen with Outlook Express in Windows XP. How may I increase the printed font size?

Microsoft and their MVP people have chosen to ignore this problem which also includes a failure to print headers. It seemed to have something to do with IE7 as all was well before I installed that.
Before printing those documents, go to print preview (under File) and adjust your size there.
I'm guessing you have a horizontal pagination setting of "Scale to fit". With this setting the browser window width is taken into consideration--try narrowing the window and see if text gets larger.
If you change this setting to "automatic" the window width wont be used.
Windows Mail uses the print engine from Internet Explorer. In Internet Explorer, go to Page (or View), then Text Size, and increase the text size setting. Try printing again.
I found two ways to deal with this:
- (this is the easiest) go to the edit menu in the email. Select "edit message", nothing noticeable happens when you do this. But it does allow you to select "Plain Text" from the Format menu. Should print normal now.
- Select All, Copy, Paste into Word, print from word.
Hope this helps those who view this thread.
