    How To Add folders Shorcut To Start Menu in Windows XP

    The first component of the Start menu provides quick access to software that you use often, as your web browser, messaging software, ... You can also add shortcuts to folders you use often. You can get there quickly.


    1. In Windows Explorer, select the folder to highlight the Start menu.

    2. Click the right mouse button and choose Create Shortcut.

    3. Press the F2 key to rename the shortcut and give the folder name.

    4. Then drag the shortcut on the Start button and hold the left mouse button pressed.

    5. The Start menu is displayed. Then drag the shortcut in the upper menu, where the software pinned.

    6. Release the mouse button. The file is then added to the list. Click to open your file.

    7. Do not delete the shortcut that you previously created to access your file.

    8. If you want to remove this issue from the list, click the right mouse button and choose the Delete from the list.

    Hello You can Do this by This mothod Right click the Start Button/Properties/Customize/Advanced. Scroll down to My Documents and choose List as a Menu. Then go to Windows Explorer\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\My Documents. Highlight My Documents, then choose File/New/Folder. Name it and move any contents there that you want. It will then be added to the Start Menu My Documents and cascading.
