You must surely know the shortcut "Send To" present when you right-click on a file. It allows you to post documents on a USB key, or by email ...
You can change this shortcut to add programs. For example, I have a html file that opens by default with Internet Explorer, but I open it with Notepad to edit this document.
We will see how to add programs in this feature shortened.
To do this open your local disk by clicking on computer and on disk for your system. Then head in the tree of your disk to the folderTo access this folder you will have to display hidden files because AppData is a hidden folder.C:\Users\<Your_Account>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo.
In the SendTo folder, please right-click New, then Shortcut.
In the wizard, find the program you want to use to open a file (in my case Notepad).
So you just add the program in the SendTo feature.
