Restore classical Taskbar in Windows 7

Many might sound strange dramatically, but there are many users who, having tried the first beta of Windows 7, they found inconvenient, the new super-taskbar (or one of the major innovations in the UI system).

However, leaving aside the argument, today we are here to offer a practical guide, through which all users of Seven tired of having to make two clicks to access a program and / or minimized to a folder can restore the old taskbar, what from Windows 95 to Vista has done so much for company over the past 14 years.

    It begins!

(See the next post for procedure )

    1. Right-click on a blank area of the taskbar and, remove the checkmark from the item "Lock the taskbar; if there is"

    2. Right-click on a blank area of the taskbar and select "Properties" from the context menu

    3. Put the checkmark next to "use small icons"

    4. Select "Never combine" from the drop-down menu located near the "Taskbar buttons" and click OK

    5. Right-click on each icon on the taskbar and select "Unpin this program from taskbar" from the context menu

    6. Right-click an empty space on the taskbar and select "Toolbars -> New Toolbar from the contextual menu

    7. Go to the %SystemDrive%\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\

    8. Highlight the "Quick Launch" and click the button "Select Folder"

    9. Right-click on the Quick Launch bar and remove the check mark from the items "Show Title" and "Show Text"

    10. Drag the Quick Launch bar on the left of the taskbar, next to the button start

    11. Right-click an empty space on the taskbar and if you wish, put the checkmark in the "Lock the taskbar".

That's it, now you got back to the classic taskbar of Microsoft systems.

As talking about the new Taskbar in Windows 7, I have not found this feature so bad... in fact to be honest I found it very useful.

Have the same view, especially in optical touch screen, but since there is the possibility to return to the classic taskbar because it does not provide to those who want a guide to get you?

Nice post about changing the taskbar to the classic view. Will be good for those who are used to the classic taskbar. Well to mention about Windows 7, it is still in Beta version and some nice fixes are yet to come
