    Resolution no longer available

    Hello Friends,

    Check your laptops graphics card, if it supports 22" monitor. or You can try this:

    • Go to Display Properties=>Settings=>Advanced
    • Click the Monitor tab
    • Untick the box that says "Hide modes etc"
    • Click the Adapter tab
    • then Click List All Modes
    • Select or choose the resolution you want

    It seems to me like your Dell doesn't support HD resolutions. Some monitor shop let you try every monitor until you found one that work. How much RAM you have, it might work if you have 512 or 1GB RAM.
