Re: Time and Date problem in Windows Xp Hey try to follow these steps. 1) Open System Preferences 2) Click on "Date and Time" at the bottom 3) Click on the Tab "Time Zones" * If it's wrong, click on the map to get to the time zone you want or type in a city name according to your choices. ![]() |

Re: Time and Date problem in Windows Xp Try out these solution step by step and so far it seems to be working for me. (1)Go to Applications -> Utilities -> System Profiler (2)Click on Hardware, it's on the very top in the list on the left (3)Look for your Bus Speed, it should be something like XXX MHz (4)Divide that number by four, and remember it (5)Browse to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ (6)Open the file com.apple.Boot.plist in TextEdit (7)Under <key>Kernel Flags</key>, add the line <string>FSB=XXX</string>, where XXX is the number you got in Step (4) (8)Safe that file to the Desktop, with the extension plist (9)Replace the old com.apple.Boot.plist with the new one from your desktop (10)Repair permissions (11)Reboot |

Re: Time and Date problem in Windows Xp I think its the problem with your CMOS battery. Its on your mother board and its look like a watch battery. Try to change that battery and then reset your time and date. ![]() |

Re: Time and Date problem in Windows Xp Try to double click on your clock and you should see the date and time properties. Open the Internet Time tab,and then put un-check mark against the "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" check box, and that should resolve your problem. Hope so that would work out for you. ![]() |
