Windows 7 themes problem

Hi friends I am facing an issue with my Themes whenever I am putting an theme of Aero and going back to basic .My Desktop Background becomes Blackout and even if I try to refresh it won’t happen. Can anyone tell me solution for this issue?

Sure i will help you out with this issue.First try to find out DWM file and delete it.

I am not able to get the WM file can you please direct me where i will get this file ?

You will get this file in Task Manager as DWM.exe, after finding this file Delete the File and restart your Pc.Now you will not Face this issue anyone.

Hi I tried this help solution as I too have a black screen as well as the bottom task bar. I was just working away after setting desktop picture as I had just installed Windows 7 gee I am annoyed that your suggested fix doesnt work.

I went to task manager clicked on the mentioned file deleted it rebooted and guess what black screen again. Please help me as well.

It might happen that some of the files might had got corrupted because of which you are facing such kind of issue in that case i would suggest you to reinstall your operating system and i am sure this would solve your problem, but before formatting check out below threads

hey i need help...i was trying to download dreamscene on my windows 7 so it uninstalled or did something to my slideshow theme its like its not even there and i cant even change the picture or anything..and dreamscene didnt even work so i deleted that but now my slideshow thing is gone and im pissd off..pls help

Hi as no one had a solution I backed up my data and reinstalled windows. A lot of work as had to reinstall all of my programs but thank god as yet windows 7 is working as it should do
