    click on a GIF image to start a program

    Hi all, I wanted to know if there would have a program or any trick to make a GIF image on the desktop and click on it to launch some other program. Until now, these are file (. icon). but as I find more to see icons even if there are as nice as I can have a preference from either a gif image, so if someone who know something or perhaps already thinking long and that applies already would be great. Thank you all

    I really do not understand whats your problem ...
    Save a GIF on the desktop? to run a prog. ?

    In other words, you want to replace an icon (. Ico) by an image of your choice ... is that what you mean?!
    Take your picture. gif, open it in a suitable software and records the icon format (. ico).
    Then in the properties of the shortcut, you change the icon indicating that you have created ...

    it is not possible for an image in GIF format that you can not transform into an ico file and use it as a desktop icon to launch an application.
    You can not force Windows to create a shortcut using a gif file. But given the ease of converting gif to ico, I do not see the problem ....

    There is a possibility:
    Using an HTML page (local) as wallpaper
    On this page use your place and you gifs creates links ....
    It's just for those who want to make life easier
