How to Enable or Disable Quick Launch in Windows 7

Hi,

I have recently Install Windows 7 on my PC and i want to Enable Quick Launch. Can anyone tell me the what steps I need to follow for enabling it.

Sure I will help you with that you need to follow few steps:-

1. Click on Start.
2. Click on Search and Type regedit.
3. Now got to
   
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
   
   
4. To Enable Quick Launch
   
   
   • In the right pane of Explorer, right click on a empty area and click on New and DWORD (32-bit) Value.
   • Type QuickLaunchEnabled and press Enter.
   • Right click on QuickLaunchEnabled and click on Modify.
   • Type 1 and click on OK.
   • Go to step 6.
   
   
   
5. To Disable Quick Launch
   
   
   • In the right pane of Explorer, right click on QuickLaunchEnabled and click on Delete.
   • Click on Yes to confirm deletion.
   
   
6. Close Regedit.
7. Log off and log on, or restart the computer to apply.

There is another way also which is as follows:-

1. To Add Quick Launch as a Toolbar
   
   
   
   • Select Unhide System Folders in Folder Option.
   • Right click on a empty space on the taskbar and click on New Tool.
   • Now go to C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer.
   • Select the Quick Launch folder, and click on the Select button.
   • Now Hide System folders in Folder Options.
   • You now have a Quick Launch toolbar on the taskbar.
   
   
   
2. To Remove the Quick Launch Toolbar
   
   
   
   • Right click on a empty space on the taskbar and click on Quick Launch to uncheck and remove it from the taskbar.
