    Re: Customize my Start Menu

Right click on the Task Bar and go to Properties. In the dialog box that just poped up, click on the Start Menu tab. I have mine on "Start Menu". Now click on Customize. On the dialog that comes up, you may choose what options you wish, then go to the Advanced tab. This is where you really put on what you want (or take off). Look though and decide what you would like to see everytim e you click your Start button. When your done, press OK, then OK again. Hit your start button and see how it looks!

    Re: Customize my Start Menu

ShellExView is a small program that allows you to enable or disable entries menus. This is very useful if you have any problems with the right-click

    Getting started

    • Extension Names: The name of the entry, it usually contains the name of the application that fits in the menu.
    • Disabled: displays the status of the entry.
    • File Extensions: Extensions (or item type: file, folder, a system ... etc) for which the entry is valid.
    • Type: The type of entry. They are essentially:

    1. Context Menu: contextual menus for files and directories.
    2. Shell Folder: the elements of the system such as the recycle bin and the elements of control panel.
    3. Property Sheet: concerns the properties of elements.
    4. Browser Helper Object: refers to the context menu of Internet Explorer.

You can click on one of these columns to sort the entries in the order you want.

You can also use the search function of the software (Edit> Find) to find an entry quickly.
    • Select one or more entries (use the CTRL).

    1. To disable an entry, right-click it and select Disable Selected Items.
    2. To activate an entry, right-click it and select Enable Selected Items.
