    Dynamic photo gallery

I need an application that can load web photos from PC and make albums in a dynamic and transparent to my web address. Anybody know applications that can serve this and how this can be done?

    Re: Dynamic photo gallery

I've been looking to buy a decent photo gallery to use on my clients' website for quite some time, and haven't found a suitable solution.

I'm looking for the following features:

The buttons for the categories need to be created when the client adds a new folder of images in their home directory.

I need the gallery to auto resize the images for thumbnail navigation.

It needs to work with vertical and horizontal images.

The look/feel of the FLA needs to be customizable...

Basically, I need a photo gallery that is useful and easily updatable by someone with no flash/programming knowledge.

You might want to try this one. It's AS3 and fully configurable.
Dynamic Photo Gallery / Slideshow (XML/AS3)

Can also try www.slideshowpro.net ... bloomin' good!!

Personally, I would say that it would be a better idea to look at creating this via a HTML based site with a built in user interface solution. I am sure there are many about that you could buy or license and use in your projects whilst still making money on the whole thing and most likely saving yourself a lot of hassle explaining to your customer how to use it!

If you still want to do this via Flash I would say that you need to be studying up on the "LoadVars" class very carefully, as this would most likely come into play a great deal with regards to updating from the client side etc.

Otherwise check out this site for some cool Flash components which may help:
