A new splash screen for Windows Vista

When you start Windows Vista, the startup screen (also the boot screen) has not changed since Windows XP. We'll see how easily replace an image from the theme Aurora.

The bootscreen Vista is similar to that found on Windows XP: a simple black screen with a small animated progress bar at the bottom.

If you want a little change at this level, it is very easy to replace the splash screen without having to install any software.

Here's how:

• Go to Start and type msconfig in the search box and then confirm.
  
  
• In the System Configuration Utility, select Start and then select the Do not start the graphical user interface.
  
  
• Then click the OK button. You'll be prompted to restart your computer. Accept.
  
  
• As in every use of utilisatire msconfig, the tool is in Diagnostic or Selective to ensure that changes via msconfig are not the cause of instability or problems. We must therefore confirm our amendment. A tooltip that some startup programs are blocked appears in the notification area (near the clock).
  
  
• Click on the icon by infobule indicated in the notification area and select Run blocked program and then System Configuration Utility .
  
  
• The confirmation window will appear Simply check the box Do not show this message or launch the System Configuration tool when Windows starts and click OK.
  
  
• A new start screen corresponding to the theme Aurora is now in place. Although it is a bit dark and is not moderated, it still brings a little change in the boot of Vista.
