With very high resolutions reached by the monitors today, it is not always easy to control the lifts windows Windows. The problem is even more crucial with the TabletPC and new touch screens where the use of elevators Windows with the fingers is particularly difficult and imprecise. The solution? Ask Windows display elevator buttons larger and thus easier to master!

To control the display width lifts windows is easy! The option exists in XP, Vista and even Windows 7.

XP
  • Click the right button on a blank area of the desktop and select Properties.
  • Open the Appearance tab
  • Click the Advanced tab
  • In the popup menu item, select Scroll bar
  • Enter 26 in the Size field (or any other value to your convenience)
  • Click OK, then click Apply and then click OK.


Under Vista and Windows 7

  • Click the right button on a blank area of the desktop and select Customize.
  • Select Color and Appearance windows
  • When Aero is turned click Open classic appearance properties otherwise skip to step below
  • Click the Advanced tab
  • In the popup menu item, select Scroll bar
  • Enter 26 in the Size field (or any other value to your convenience)
  • Click OK, then click Apply and then click OK.
