After seeing how to add Notepad in Internet Explorer, we will now attract the Firefox browser.
Let's go in the Views menu, Toolbars, Customize ... (directly or right click on the toolbar and choose Customize ...). A window to change toolbars opens. In this window, select the item Application keeping the mouse button down and drag it to the toolbar in Firefox and then release the button.
Click here now in the toolbar for Firefox with the right mouse button. A new menu opens.
Select New ... button and choose the application you want to install. In our example we will select the file \ WINDOWS \ notepad.exe.
This is our icon Notepad inserted in the toolbar for Firefox.
Note that you can change the properties of the button by clicking the right mouse button. You will be able to choose your icon, change its size, add a keyboard shortcut or pass arguments to the application.
