Adobe announces availability of version Photoshop Lightroom 2.0 for Windows and Mac OS X. The new version of software for professional photographers brings several new features, at the top which is the care of 64-bit processors "for operating systems Windows and Mac OS the most recent." Lightroom also gets a localized retouching tool for targeting an area of the image to change precisely, an enhanced integration with Photoshop CS3, design layout for printing photos, or even the ability to manage its index and photos on several volumes, keeping an overview of each high-definition picture even when the device is not connected. Users of multi-screen configurations will in turn delighted to learn that version 2.0 now manages several monitors.
Some improvements and enhancements are also scheduled. These include algorithms improvements sharpness, the classification of photos that grows more powerful filters, or non-destructive edits now managing more than 190 formats. Photoshop Lightroom 2.0 is marketed at a price of US$99 upgrade from v1.x, or US$299 for a new license. The update is available about it at a price of 118.40 euros TTC.
