Re: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula Motherboard

Thank you for the Link, It is very Informative but I have gone over it again and again, It won't boot outside of the case either. It is very bizarre to me. I have the 24 pin connector on the motherboard plugged in and I have the 8 pin at the top plugged in. It did have a plastic cover but I removed it and plugged it in. The cpu is seated correctly and with a little thermal grease with the stock cpu fan. The Fan will spin up once and stop when I hit the power. There is a red light on the board that will flash for a second and turn off. I think it means its getting to many volts but I don't know how it would be.

Well, you should have started a new thread, instead of hijacking this thread which is meant for buying and selling products. I would recommend you to start a new topic in this forum - http://forums.techarena.in/motherboard-processor-ram/ - and note all the details of the computer specifications you have. To me it seems like either you are not getting enough power to boot up your pc because of a faulty power supply, or perhaps it could be the motherboard problem all along.
